“You’re gonna need a bigger boat.” 🦈🦈🦈

Updated: Jan 9

Want a GUARANTEED way to swim faster?

Recreate ‘Jaws’ in your local pool or lake, complete with real life sharks.

If anything’s going to help you set a front crawl PB, that’ll be it.

Unfortunately (or rather - fortunately!) that’s not a viable option.

Not only would the RSPCA probably have something to say about sharks being used that way, but I wouldn’t even know where to start looking for a rentable shark.

(Answers on a postcard, please.)

The good news is, it’s not hard to make big gains in your swimming times and techniques.

The bad news is, most triathletes go about doing this all wrong.

Whether that’s due to a lack of time as they prioritise running and cycling.

Or it’s more because they simply aren’t sure where to start with their swim programming and technique.

Either way, once you’re past the beginner phase, swimming stronger and faster is no cakewalk.

But if you check out this article, you’ll see just how easy swimming faster can be.

Brownlee Fitness coach and swim specialist Nick Harris has put together his top 5 tips for swimming faster.

So check it out, and let me know any questions.PeteBrownlee Fitness

P.S.

No sharks were harmed in the making of this email.

P.P.S.

When I first read Nick’s article, I was very surprised by tip #4.

But since incorporating it, my swim performance has shot up.

I think you’ll be surprised just how effective this one is.
